Las Chilangas is truly a hidden gem in NJ. The food is phenomenal—super fresh and incredibly authentic. It’s easily one of the best restaurants in the area. What sets Las Chilangas apart is the family-run atmosphere that shines through in every aspect. The food is made with love, and the service is exceptionally warm and personal. They remember your preferences and even recommend items based on what you like. They’ll go above and beyond by offering off-menu items tailored to your tastes. Watching the chefs cook in the open kitchen adds a special touch, making it feel like your Tia is preparing a meal just for you.

It's a small family ran business. idk what google expects out of the atmosphere, let alone other snobs. But this place is my go-to. Best food. Best bang for the buck. Authentic home style cooking flavors. I honestly get mad when I can't order from here and have to get other tacos from other places. They do not do it like they do. Everything is fresh, and when they say hot its really, really hot how its supposed to be. Trust me, go with green sauce for first time

If you’re thinking about stopping by Las Chilangas, do it. This unassuming little spot in a strip mall is anything but ordinary. From the second we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and such welcoming vibes.The woman who took our order was absolutely wonderful and so pleasant. We ordered the guacamole extra spicy, and she made sure we really meant it before they worked their magic. Let me tell you, it might just be the best guac we’ve ever had! So fresh, so flavorful, and the perfect amount of heat. Every bite was pure happiness. We also asked for some spicier salsa and were given a beautiful salsa verde and a hotter red salsa, both of which were fantastic. Plus, the pina agua fresca was super refreshing and delicious. For tacos, my husband got al pastor, birria, and carnitas, and he really enjoyed every single one. The homemade corn tortillas were so good. I ordered al pastor, pollo, and camaron, and while everything was tasty, the al pastor totally stole the show. Packed with well-developed flavor in every bite. We were so full after just four tacos and the guacamole and chips that we didn’t even have room for dessert, but we look forward to going back soon. Las Chilangas is a total gem!

HIDDEN JEM!! We had an amazing experience eating some of the best authentic Mexican food we have ever had. As a vegetarian family the food we got was all vegetarian on request and was still amazing. There were many options for homemade salsas such as red, green, spicy and non-spicy. For drinks they have different home made juices, drinks, and Mexican soda. Also complementing their food, was the amazing host and his service. To top it all the food they serve is all freshly cooked.

You HAVE to come here. We went to Gasko's and goggled restaurants, this was number 1. Guac was phenomenal, chunky and fresh. The nachos!!! Come here.

Food is delicious, portions are huge, salsa is amazing, the guacamole is fresh and delicious. Everything we order is the best we've had in a long time so we keep coming back for more.

LOVE this place!!! My boyfriend and his family have gotten food here once a week for the last few weeks and have been raving about so I was very excited to finally try it for myself. We came on a Saturday afternoon and decided to sit in the dining room. The service was excellent, and the food was even better! We each got an array of tacos and shared a street corn. The tacos were so authentically seasoned, where the focus was the flavor. And boy were they flavorful!! It was the perfect lunch and we were in and out within an hour. I can’t wait to eat here again!!
